ToiletsAdviser is an independent website dedicated to one thing: helping you choose, install, and maintain the right toilet. We publish in-depth reviews, brand and model comparisons, buying guides, and step-by-step repair tutorials covering everything from flush systems and rough-in dimensions to bidets, smart toilets, and composting toilets.

How we work

Every review and guide on this site is the product of hands-on research: we study manufacturer specifications, installation manuals, and warranty documents; we check independent flush-performance data (MaP scores) where available; we read large numbers of verified owner reviews to find patterns in reliability, noise, cleaning, and installation difficulty; and we compare models side by side on flush performance, build quality, water efficiency, ease of installation, and value for money. Our full process is published on our Review Methodology page. We do not operate a physical test laboratory, and we say so plainly.

Who writes for us

Our articles are written by Alex Miller and James Christopher, who research and cover bathroom fixtures full-time for this site.
